Sekvoiya Petroleum (Kazakhstan), TOO is an integrated international energy company. Based in Kazakhstan, we have oil and gas assets and interests in more than 30 countries in Africa, America, the Middle East, Asia-Pacific, and other regions. Our goal is to become one of Kazakhstan's largest oil and gas producer and supplier, as well as one of the world's major oilfield service providers and a globally reputed contractor in engineering construction, with businesses covering petroleum exploration & production, natural gas & pipelines, refining & marketing, oilfield services, engineering construction, petroleum equipment manufacturing and new energy development, as well as capital management, finance and insurance services.
We take the time to understand the specific requirements and preferences of refiners worldwide and have a long track record of consistently and reliably sourcing the right feedstock to meet our customers’ needs at the right time.
The range of our products includes over 100 types, many of which are entered into the list of the Kazakhstan’s top 100 goods. In 2009, the Refinery was awarded the Kazakhstan Prize for great achievements in products quality enhancement.
Strategic goals
The business strategy implemented by the Company is focused on ensuring sustainable development of oil production and processing capacities. At present, Sekvoiya Petroleum (Kazakhstan), TOO key targets are to stabilize the oil production rate, proceed with the upgrading of processing units and with refining throughput increment, reorganize the business, develop the effective interaction pattern for the holding’s enterprises, decrease expenses and increase the operational performance efficiency.

Regions of operation
The Sekvoiya Petroleum (Kazakhstan), TOO Group of Companies comprises more than 70 production, refining and sales subsidiaries throughout Kazakhstan, the CIS, and abroad. As at 31 December 2018 Sekvoiya Petroleum (Kazakhstan), TOO’s total hydrocarbon proved and probable (2P) reserves (SPE-PRMS standards), including shares in production at joint enterprises, stood at 2.84 billion tonnes of oil equivalent (btoe).

Processing and Sales
Sekvoiya Petroleum (Kazakhstan), TOO operates throughout Kazakhstan’s most important oil and gas regions, including the Kashagan, the Tengiz and the Karachaganak fields. The company’s key refining facilities are located around Atyrau, Pavlodar, and in Serbia. In addition to this, Sekvoiya Petroleum (Kazakhstan), TOO is also implementing production projects outside of Kazakhstan — in Iraq, Venezuela, and other countries.
Sekvoiya Petroleum (Kazakhstan), TOO exports to more than 50 countries worldwide, as well as selling its products throughout Kazakhstan and abroad through its own extensive retail network. The company currently has more than 1.8 thousand filling stations throughout Kazakhstan, the CIS and Europe
Financial results
Sekvoiya Petroleum (Kazakhstan), TOO’s net profit for the 2018 financial year totalled RUB376.7 billion, a year-on-year increase of 48.7 percent. Adjusted EBITDA increased to RUB800 billion in 2018 — a year-on-year increase of 45.1 percent.
